About Us.

The Dryden Company owns, manages and leases over 1,000,000 square feet of office, flex, showroom, and retail space.  We are a family owned company whose owners and employees pride themselves on friendly, helpful service, quick responses, and a great product. We lease and manage only properties that we own, so that we can provide you with more personal and prompt attention.

The large portfolio of properties owned by the Dryden Company reflects our commitment to superior locations and quality buildings. We understand that finding the right home for your business is essential. We hope that the way we run our business will help you to succeed in yours.

The Company was founded by 
John S. Dryden, who began his career as a real estate broker before becoming a commercial mortgage banker. Eventually this led to structuring joint ventures between insurance companies and local developers and investors.  His extensive background in development and finance enabled Mr. Dryden to start the Dryden Company and ultimately, to leave a legacy of knowledge and a real estate portfolio in the hands of his daughter, Suzanna Dryden Jensen, who is continuing the family business.  

Suzanna   dryden   jensen

President
Ms. Dryden Jensen joined the Dryden Company in 2006. She focuses most of her attention on leasing and the daily operations of the company. She is responsible for leasing, renewals, asset management and tenant relationships.  Prior to joining the Dryden Company, she worked for a large brokerage firm in California in the Tenant Representation group and In-house leasing group.  She also worked for a development consulting company, focused on master-planned communities.
She graduated from Stanford University in 2002 with a BA in English Literature.


Erik   jensen

Vice President
Mr. Jensen joined the Dryden Company in 2015. His responsibilities include leasing, tenant relations, asset management, acquisitions, and helping manage the general day-to-day operations of the company. His professional background includes experience in corporate finance, commercial real estate mortgage banking & finance, and private equity. He was also a principal in a company that focused on institutional residential investments throughout the DFW metro area.
​He graduated from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 1999 with a BS in Business Administration.


Sheila  Crites

Controller
Ms. Crites has been with the Dryden Company since 1997. She handles the accounting and reporting for all of the properties in the Dryden Company portfolio.
She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a degree in accounting.


Kevin  Mahieu

Property Manager / Construction Supervisor
Mr. Mahieu joined the Dryden Company in 2012. He is responsible for managing the maintenance of the properties, capital improvement projects, construction projects, and tenant relations. His friendly personality and attention to detail have been great assets.
Mr. Mahieu has over 25 years’ experience in commercial property management.


Chris  crites

Bookkeeper
Mr. Crites manages the A/P and A/R for the properties.  He works closely with the team to ensure that all accounting is done accurately and promptly.
